Children's Plays for 2-3 Adults to Perform for Children

These children’s scripts are based on the classic tales of the same name. The actors sometimes play several characters each, using a curtain and simple costume changes. Audience members become characters with guidance from the actors. Some of the scripts are original stories (as you may have noticed). There are some restrictions as to the states or regions these may be performed.
  1. BUSY CHRISTMAS EVE. Evergreen has a long list of things to do every Christmas Eve. Tinsel decides to help Evergreen then Evergreen can get the box of ornaments for the tree in their workroom. But Evergreen falls asleep and Tinsel figures out a way to decorate the tree.
    Running time: 45 minutes
  2. CAPTAIN BOBELLA OF THE BEAST. Cruel Captain Bobella never smiles, laughs or sings. She doesn’t think it fitting for her ship the Beast. But Lagee does all three and Captain Bobella catches him. He has to think fast to keep from walking the plank.
    Running time: 25 or 45 minutes (two versions)
  3. THE CASE OF THE MISSING PET. Teal Channer Gecko is training Avis Skylar Parrot to be a detective and their first case is, unfortunately, Avis’s pet rock.
    Running time: 45 minutes
  4. JACK & THE BEANSTALK. Jack sells his cow for magic beans and has an adventure in a giant castle. His mother isn't too happy about that.
    Running time: 45 minutes
  5. PAUL BUNYAN. Paul Bunyan and his friend, Babe the Blue Ox have adventures from one coast to the other.
    Running time: 25 or 45 minutes (two versions)
  6. PRINCESS ON A PEA. The Queen is looking for a real princess for her son. The search is on.
    Running time: 45 minutes
  7. PUSS IN BOOTS. Leave it to a clever cat to make poor Thomas into a Marquis through a few gifts to the king and by overcoming an ogre.
    Running time: 25 or 45 minutes (two versions)
  8. TORTOISE & THE HARE. Hare is boasting again and being rude to the other forest animals. Tortoise will have no more of it and challenges Hare to a race! Based on Aesop's famous fable.
    Running time: 25 or 45 minutes (two versions)
  9. EMPRESS’S NEW CLOTHES. (This is a 3-person play) The empress loves to be fashionable above all else. But a swindler comes along who teaches her a lesson.
    Running time: 45 minutes
  10. THE MAGICAL FACTUAL PLANET PURSUIT. (This is a 3-person play) Melodie needs help with her science report but her confused Fairy Godfather just wants to get her off to the ball. The magic wand seems to have a mind of its own as it takes Mel and FG through the solar system.
    Running time: 45 minutes
