![]() Guilt. Remorse. Fear. That's what I'm feeling after writing a total lie! I wrote another monologue for kids. I didn't know what to write. I thought, "What difficulties do kids face today?" The thought struck me that maybe there are children in the world (or at least in the United States) who like healthy food. Oh, the teasing they would have to endure...if they actually told someone. And that's when I wrote the lie: No Chocolate for Me. It was hard to write something that goes totally against my nature. No chocolate? Just bury me in the desert and let fire ants eat me. My life would be over anyway. In the meantime, I salute all children who love to eat healthy food. May you proudly endure the mocking, knowing that when you're grown-up, all your grown-up friends will come to you, begging for advice on a healthy lifestyle.

Marian, that's me!
I love stories! I love to read fairy tales, fables, stories from around the world. I especially love scifi and fantasy. And I like to write. And watch movies. And play board games. And do theatre things. Categories
